Fern Hills

Fern Hills is a custom-designed private sanctuary in Kozhikode (Calicut) engineered for a doctor couple who envisioned their home as a serene garden retreat. Expanding on their original estate plan, we integrated an adjoining parcel of land to create a multi-layered biophilic landscape.The property features rubble-stone retaining walls, black slate cladding, and local terracotta rafter assemblies. Thick curtains of curtain vines, wild ferns, water lily ponds, and structural palms wrap around the villa, creating a natural acoustic barrier and a soothing microclimate that captures the essence of luxury living in the Malabar region.
